Hexagon signs MoU with Emmerson
We are pleased to inform that Hexagon Group AG has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Emmerson PLC for the potential offtake of minimum of 245,000 mt per year of potash (MOP) and minimum of 500,000 mt per year of salt (NaCl) from the Khemisset potash project in northern Morocco. The offtake will have a duration of ten years, and includes exclusive marketing rights for Europe, Africa and Asia once the mines are operating. The first production at the Khemisset mine is scheduled for mid-2025, provided that final permitting and financing is completed by the end of 2022. The construction period is scheduled to last around two years.
